# All Nippon Airways seat maps: which aircraft NH actually flies

All Nippon Airways (NH) operates 12 distinct aircraft types across 91 airports in 2LNR's schedule data, including Boeing 737-800, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. A fleet this varied is exactly why a seat number means different things on different departures of the same route: the cabin you get depends on which airframe is assigned. Every aircraft below carries the routes NH actually flies it on, how far those routes run, and the cabin configuration NH records for it where there is one.

## The All Nippon Airways fleet, as actually flown

Aircraft types NH currently schedules on its own metal, each with the nonstop routes it operates, how far those routes run and the cabin configuration NH records for it. Regional flying under the NH brand counts as NH metal; flights NH markets but another airline operates do not.

Route counts are distinct directional nonstop city pairs in 2LNR's schedule data. Where an airline files a family code without naming a variant, the card reads as the family: that is what was filed, and guessing the airframe would be worse than saying so.

Distances are great-circle miles between the two airports, rounded to the nearest ten, not the track a flight actually files. A longest route is shown only where every one of that aircraft's routes could be measured, and a typical route only where most of them could; where the measurement was too thin, the figure is left out rather than estimated.

Configurations are the aircraft names NH itself records in 2LNR's reference. They are not seat counts and not a cabin layout, and the reference carries no date we could stand behind, so none is claimed. Airlines retrofit cabins and can assign a different aircraft on the day, so treat them as context rather than as what you will board. Where nothing is recorded, nothing is shown.

## How to see the seat map for your NH flight

The useful version of this question is per flight, not per aircraft type.

### Add the flight, then open its live map

On Pro, 2LNR reads the seat map for the specific NH flight and date you are looking at, scores the open seats inside your own cabin and marks paid seats as paid. It is read at the moment you ask rather than stored, so an aircraft swap shows up as a different map instead of a wrong one.

### Then let it watch

Cabins churn in the last days before departure as blocked rows release and upgrades clear. Seat monitoring re-reads the map on a cadence that tightens as departure approaches and tells you when a better seat opens, or when the seat you hold changes underneath you.

More on that in [seat monitoring](https://2lnr.com/lp/seat-monitoring.md).

### If you want a cabin diagram instead

2LNR does not publish stored cabin drawings or per-seat comfort ratings for NH aircraft, and this page will not pretend otherwise. For browsing a layout on an aircraft you have not booked, a maintained diagram library such as [AeroLOPA](https://www.aerolopa.com/) is the right tool.

## Frequently asked questions about All Nippon Airways (NH) aircraft

**What aircraft does All Nippon Airways fly?**

12 aircraft types appear on All Nippon Airways's own metal in 2LNR's schedule data, reaching 91 airports, including Boeing 737-800, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The full list is on this page, with the nonstop routes each one operates and the recorded cabin configuration where there is one. Regional flying under the NH brand is counted as NH metal; flights NH markets but another airline operates are not.

**Does 2LNR publish NH seat maps by aircraft type?**

Not as static diagrams. 2LNR reads the LIVE seat map for a specific NH flight and date, which is a different thing from a stored cabin drawing: an aircraft swap shows up as a different map rather than a wrong one. If you want to browse a cabin layout for an aircraft you have not booked, a maintained seat-map library such as AeroLOPA is the right tool, and this page says so rather than pretending otherwise.

**How do I see the seat map for my NH flight?**

Add the flight to 2LNR and open it. Pro plans pull that departure's live seat map, score the open seats inside your own cabin, and mark paid seats as paid. 2LNR can then keep watching the map for a better seat, which is the part a static NH cabin diagram was never able to do.

**Where does this NH fleet information come from?**

From the schedules 2LNR collects continuously and uses to build its own route map: every aircraft listed here is one NH has filed against a nonstop route it operates, and the counts are the routes in that data. It is a picture of what is scheduled, not an aircraft register, so a type NH owns but is not currently scheduling will not appear. Route lengths are great-circle distances between the two airports rather than flown track miles.

**What is the longest route All Nippon Airways flies?**

Of the routes in 2LNR's schedule data, the longest NH operates on its own metal is Mexico City (MEX) to Tokyo (NRT), about 6,990 miles great-circle, flown on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. That is the distance between the two airports rather than the track the flight actually takes, and it is the routing rather than the aircraft that decides it: NH schedules more than one type on many of its routes.
